Ulta Beauty 21 Days of Beauty Sale Recommendations

I don’t know about you but I LOVE the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sales!! In the past, I’ve done videos giving you my recommendations to check out during the sale.  Well, this current sale seems to really have caught me off-guard with all the chaos going on and therefore, I wasn’t able to get a video of my recommendations filmed in time.

Not to fear!! I’ve got you covered.  I decided to bring you my recommendations the old fashioned way…..via my blog!!

General Sale Info

What is it?
For a period of 21 days, Ulta chooses items that will be priced at 50% off.  This price is only good for one day and is limited to stock on hand.  Usually, there is a mix of in-store and online only items….now that stores are going to be closed for the next few weeks, you’ll have to do all of your shopping online.

What are Hot Buys?
These are items marked down up to 30% off and generally run for the course of the sale.  Sometimes, Ulta will update this list of items weekly.

Shipping Costs?
If you are a Platinum or Diamond member and you purchase any of these sale items, shipping is free. Shipping rates for everyone else have been waived if your order totals $15 or more.

Now that you have the general idea of what this is all about, here are the items that I would highly recommend checking out during this sale.  I’ll also indicate which of these items I plan to purchase as well.

Friday, March 20th

BECCA Ultimate Lip Definer – $9
**I have this in Serene and it’s a beautiful reddish burgundy shade.  I love pairing this with the Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in Angelic!

BECCA Ultimate Lipstick Love – $12
**I have 3 shades of this lipstick and love the formula!! They are categorized by warm and cool shades….the 3 I have are:  Soufflé (cool); Dusk (warm); Sugar (cool) – this is my favorite of the 3!!

Sunday, March 22nd

LORAC Unzipped palettes – $12.50 – 17.50
**This is a baked formula shadow and different from their PRO palettes.  One of my long time favorites was the original Unzipped palette – if you like cool mauves and browns, this is a fabulous palette!

LORAC Front of the Line PRO Liquid Eyeliner – $11.50
**Great soft, precise tip making it easy to use and the formula is waterproof! This is a great alternative to the Kat Von D Tattoo Liquid Liner that you all know I love!

Too Faced Bronzers – $15
**The Chocolate Matte Soleil Bronzers are fabulous for contouring (Milk is the one I use on my paler, winter skin; Chocolate is my choice in the summer).  I’m planning to check out the shimmery bronzer shade in “Sun Bunny”….I hear great things about this one!

Monday, March 23rd

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primers – $12
**These really are good eyeshadow primers and they have an “Anti-Aging” one too. On my super oily lids, I feel like the Smashbox primer works a tad better but for most, these primers will work great!

MAC Lip Pencil – $9
**These have a nice, creamy formula and you do get a lot of product for the price.  But these don’t hold my lipstick inside my liplines unless I use the MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot around the edge of my lips first.  A couple of the popular shades I own are “Soar” and “Spice”.

Tuesday, March 24th

Lipstick Queen Nothing But the Nudes – $12
**Ok, these are a FABULOUS formula!! So moisturizing and pigmented, yet they do NOT bleed past the lip lines on me!! If you like a good “nude” lipstick, this is a great shade range to check out.  My two favorites are “The Whole Truth” and “Nothing But the Truth”….which is what you are getting here 🙂

Lime Crime Eyeshadow Palettes – $19
**I have ZERO experience with these but there are a few palettes that look interesting to me that I might be checking out on this day.

Friday, March 27th

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara & Liquid Liner – $12 – $12.50
**You know these are my absolute FAVORITES!! I will definitely be stocking up on this day!

Monday, March 30th

Diamond/Platinum Exclusive – Urban Decay Brow Blade Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil & Ink Stain – $13

**If you like the ability to add truly “hair-like” strokes in your brow, this is a wonderful product!! This is dual sided with a fine waterproof pencil on one end and a soft, fine tip marker on the other.  I haven’t talked enough about this but I’ve almost used up one entirely and plan to repurchase.  The shade I use is “Taupe Trap”.

BareMinerals BareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer – $12
**If you like a medium coverage, hydrating concealer, this one is really nice!  I use this on my lighter foundation days and feel like it works well. I do find I need to set this very lightly with powder.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil – $14
**The base of this is organic olive oil and it really works well at dissolving your makeup.  I do follow this with my usual Sibu Cleansing Bar but this is a great first step to help break everything down.  I still prefer the BareMinerals Cleanse Off Oil to this one but this is a close second :-). My mom has used this one for years and loves it!!

Tuesday, March 31st

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age-Defying Exfoliator – $39.50
**Set your alarms for this one!! You do NOT want to miss out!! This is by far the BEST exfoliator I’ve ever used!!! You only use this a maximum of 2x/week so it will last a very long time. At this sale price, it’s worth every penny!

Wednesday, April 1st

Korean Beauty Erborian CC Red Correct & CC Dull Correct – $22

**Another brand/product that I have ZERO experience with but have heard great things….have this on my list to check out.

Thursday, April 2nd

BUXOM Full-On Plumping Lip Cream – $10.50

**These are FABULOUS!  They have a slight vanilla scent, no shimmer and add a very comfortable minty-tingle to the lips.  Favorite shades are “White Russian” and “Blushing Margarita”….I might be checking out the shades “Pink Champagne”, “Pink Lady” & “Wild Orchid”, cuz a girl can never have too many lipglosses 😉

Friday, April 3rd

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette – $22

**If you’ve not already bought this but love the color story, you will not be disappointed!  There is only one shade that I thought was a “dud” but the rest performed beautifully.  If, however, you already own the ABH Sultry palette, you might not need this one….I have a video showing these side-by-side and the resemblance is uncanny! I’ll link the video here for you:

COVER FX Monochromatic Blush & Bronzer Duos – $19

**First of all, there is a TON of product in each of these and the quality is amazing!  They are highly pigmented and each duo combines a matte and a shimmer in the same color family.  I have 3 of these in “Spiced Cinnamon”, “Mulberry” & “Sunkissed Bronze”.  You do need a light hand with these but that just means they are going to last forever! I’m planning to pick up another in a lighter shade….perhaps “Pink Dahlia” or “Warm Honey”.

Saturday, April 4th

IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Hydrating Moisturizer – $24
**I finished a whole jar of this and it is a really nice moisturizer.  Skin feels slightly plumped and hydrated but not greasy.  I didn’t notice any HUGE changes in my fine lines and wrinkles but if you are in the market for a new moisturizer, at this price point, I think it’s worth checking out.

March 15th -21st

BareMinerals Endless Bronzers & Highlighters – $20.30

**Warmth & Faux Tan are fabulous as bronzers or contours; “Joy” highlighter is a beautiful peach shade that is going to be perfect in the summer!

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush & Bronzer – $18.20 – $22.40

**While I don’t own any of these individually, these formulas have been included in the IT Girl Beauty Books and they are really nice!

March 22nd – 28th

LORAC PRO Palettes – $27.30

**These have 8 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades.  The formula is very soft but pigmented and they last well (always use an eyeshadow primer of course!).  My favorites are #1, #4, #2 in that order! #3 I didn’t like at all as the color range seemed lacking to me.

TARTE Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette – $34.30

**I have to say, this has been one of my all-time favorite palettes when it comes to the matte shades.  I don’t care for the 4 shimmer shades in here but the 16 matte shades are in 4 different shade ranges and you can create so many looks with them or use them in conjunction with shimmers in other palettes.

Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks – $13.30

**Not only are there like a gazillion shades but they come in multiple finishes so I feel like there is a “perfect shade” for just about anyone.  This is one of my largest collections of lipsticks so I have lots of favorites….a couple colors that I love are “Liar (Cream)”; “Amulet” (Metallized); “Lovelight” (Sheer Shimmer); 1993 (Comfort Matte).

March 29th – April 4th
Apparently, these are still “TOP SECRET” as these have not yet been revealed on Ulta’s website 🙂

I hope you found this helpful!! If there is something on this list that you’ve wanted to check out, now is the BEST time to do it!!
