Palette of the Week: Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar ~ Makeup Looks

Here, FINALLY, is the second part in the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette of the Week series.  It only took me about 9 months to get around to it....sheesh!  If you've been wondering where in the world I've been all this time, click here for a quick update and lots of pictures :-)

Part 2 - Makeup Looks

Here are a few of the makeup looks I created, using the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette.  If you don't have this palette, you can easily recreate these looks using similar colors you may already have in your makeup collection.  Or, get inspired with these application techniques and create your own unique look with completely different colors!

Where Have I Been? Pictures and Updates from the Past Year

The past year has been a bit of a doozy!  It wasn't all bad...but it wasn't all good either....a bit like a box of chocolates (hate the cream centers but love the toffees and caramels ;-)

The main theme of the craziness of the year seemed to revolve around the PIANO!

Accompanying the Sun Lakes Chorale for 3 concerts in December...
....and 3 concerts in the spring....

With 20 plus songs to learn for each concert series, you can imagine there was a LOT of practicing going on in my house!
********************************************
Teaching piano to 14 students, including 5 adults!
Flowers from my students after their recital....guess they have forgiven me for all that forced practice time ;-)
********************************************
Recording my first CD....

********************************************
This year was also filled with loss...12 deaths in our congregation....and one of my very dear friends, Annie.
So thankful for the hope of the Gospel and knowing I will see these saints again one day in Heaven!
********************************************

There were also two road trips back to Colorado...
My mother-in-law had a stroke last summer so we packed up the car and the dog and made the 1000 mile trek so my husband could see his mom and consult with his brothers about her care going forward.
Gotta love those bright blue Colorado skies!

The second trip to Colorado was for fun and relaxation.  It was in the dead of winter and was brutally cold...but I loved it!

Of course the year wouldn't be complete without visits from friends and family...
Pedicures with these lovely ladies at the cutest nail salon in Huntington Beach!

 Reagan Library with my parents

Nothing but shopping, eating and relaxing on the beach :-)
********************************************

Oh and did I mention I also hit a pretty big milestone?
********************************************
So there you have it....a pretty wild and crazy year!  Hopefully that gives you some idea why there wasn't a whole lot of blogging going on over the past year.  But I'm going to be making up for lost time this summer! Stay tuned :-)
