Some of you may be wondering why on earth I would need a brush for my face?! Before you jump to the conclusion that I have let my facial hair get WAY out of control, let me explain...
For quite some time, I've been contemplating the purchase of a Clarisonic Brush. These highly acclaimed brushes are battery operated and receive rave reviews about their cleansing and exfoliating abilities. While I'm sure they are really wonderful, I just was having a hard time with their $99-$199 price tag!
Recently, I saw a YouTube video from GlowOfGrace and she was talking about a face brush she found online for under $10 and said the results were comparable to her Clarisonic. That got my attention! I started researching face brushes and lo and behold, I found one at Sephora for $7....now we're talkin'!
When I first felt this brush, it was so soft, I really didn't think it would do anything for my skin. But I thought it was worth a try. I followed the directions, lathering my face with soap, wetting the brush and then massaged away. Honestly, I didn't think anything was happening other than my face was getting a nice massage. But then I rinsed off the soap, and holy cow! I couldn't believe how soft my skin felt! Over the last month, I've been using it about every other day and have noticed a remarked difference in the texture of my skin. My pores are clearer and it's helped reduce the flaky dry skin I tend to get in certain areas on my face.
I think this is the best $7 I've spent on a beauty tool in a very long time.
Happy Brushing! :-)
