Makeup Look of the Week - Navy and Gold

Yesterday, I was inspired by a shirt I was wearing that had varying shades of blue with cream and soft gold.  I wanted to keep the look "daytime appropriate", since I was just going to do some grocery shopping and didn't want a look that screamed, "I'm wearing blue eyeshadow!!" In my bareMinerals stash of eyeshadows, I found the perfect combination....

Queen Phyllis - shimmery white with pale gold undertones
Bali -soft, shimmery gold
Marina - matte deep navy blue
Cleopatra - medium warm matte brown
Satin Ruffle - pale cream with a pink undertone and pearl finish

Here's the look I created.....

How to Get the Look:
*Apply your favorite eye primer
*Apply Bali all over the lid, staying below the crease
*Apply Satin Ruffle as the brow highlight, blending it down slightly toward the crease
*With a fluffy crease brush, apply Cleopatra to crease, blending the edges of Bali and Satin Ruffle
*With a pencil brush, work Marina into the outer "V", blending into the crease
*For liner, apply Marina wet to upper and lower lash line, extending slightly past the lashes
*Apply Queen Phyllis to the inner corner of the eye
*Optional:  Apply a flesh-tone pencil in the lower water line, like Tarte emphasEYES or Rimmel ScandalEyes Nude

As always, you don't have to use the exact shadows that I used....look in your stash and find colors that are similar to what I've described.
