This gloss was recommended a few months ago by one of the makeup “gurus” I like to watch on YouTube. However, every time I would see it in the store, I’d remember the plethora of lipglosses I already had at home and wondered if it could really be all that great at a price of $2.27. Well, last week, I was on Target’s website checking out their coupons (which is a great resource for all you coupon lovers like me :-), and lo and behold, there was a coupon for 50 cents off any NYC product. That sealed the deal…..I figured for $1.87, the gloss was worth a shot.
It comes in 4 or 5 colors but the color I chose was “Brighton Beach”, a beautiful, peachy-pink….
The formula is just sticky enough to stay on for a good while but it’s not gloppy. It has a light, sweet scent and good color payoff. It’s frosty but not glittery and the doe-foot applicator is thin and flexible making it super easy to apply just the right amount.
In the end, I’m SO happy with this purchase. The quality of this product rivals many lipglosses that I’ve paid more than $15 for….highly recommend! So, if you’re in the market for a new inexpensive gloss in a great summer color, give this one a try!
